A freestanding emergency room (FSER) provides the same level of emergency care as a hospital-based emergency department in a convenient neighborhood location.
Sunrise Health System’s freestanding emergency rooms are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are staffed by emergency medicine physicians and clinical teams trained to treat serious and life-threatening medical conditions.
Services include:
- Emergency medical care 24/7
- Advanced imaging, including CT and X-ray
- Laboratory testing
- Treatment for heart attack and stroke symptoms
- Pediatric emergency care
- Trauma and injury treatment
- Direct coordination with Sunrise Health System’s hospitals when additional care is needed
