Visiting policy at our hospital

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is open to visitors 24/7. Our main entrance doors are open 6:00am to 8:00pm. For entry and exit from the building after hours, please use our Emergency Department entrance, located north of the main entry.

Amenities for our visitors

We offer many resources that are available to you and your loved ones during your visit including text message updates that allow you follow a loved one's progress during surgery.  Below you'll find a list of other amenities we offer.

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is located on the first floor, and offers a wide-range of food and beverage options. We're open every day at the following times:

Breakfast: 6:30am to 9:30am
Lunch: 11:00am to 2:00pm
Dinner: 5:30pm to 10:00pm

Computers and wireless internet access

To access our free wireless internet, follow the steps below.

  1. Double click the computer icon on the lower right side of the tool bar
  2. Select "view wireless networks"
  3. Select Guest Access and connect
  4. Once connected, agree to the HCA waiver

Gift shop

The Cloverkey gift shop at Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center offers a large selection of get-well gifts, snacks and beverages, fresh flowers, convenience items, Southern Hills Hospital branded merchandise, and more! Purchases can be made in person at the gift shop, online, or by phone.

Free same-day delivery to patients

The gift shop offers free same-day delivery to patients at Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center! Place your order online at the link below, or call the gift shop at (702) 916-9255 to speak with a friendly Cloverkey associate. Orders placed within two hours of closing are delivered the same day.

Rewards program

Customers can sign up for Cloverkey Rewards in person at the gift shop. Rewards members will earn points on qualifying purchases made at the gift shop. Points can be redeemed for merchandise at any Cloverkey location.

Visitation restrictions

Circumstances may allow for specific exceptions to any visitation restrictions described on this webpage. Those circumstances include religious visitation as well as a designated support person for a patient with a disability to provide assistance with communication or other necessary components of the patient's treatment. All persons entering under an exception remain subject to appropriate infection control protocols.

Visitation guidelines for the behavioral health unit

Please note that visitation policies for our Behavioral Health Unit differ from those of the rest of the hospital. This is to ensure our patients' safety, privacy and therapeutic environment.

Visiting hours:

  • Pods A, B, & C:
    • Daily from 4:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Pod D:
    • Daily from 3:00pm to 4:00pm

For safety reasons, we ask that all visitors of our behavioral health unit adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Personal belongings such as bags, cell phones, keys and others are not permitted in the unit. We have a limited number of complimentary lockers available in the lobby for your convenience.
  • Visitors must sign in at the Pavilion's front desk. They will be scanned with a metal detector and provided with a visitor badge that must be worn for the duration of their visit.
  • All visitors must be 18 years of age or older. Small children are not allowed to wait unattended in the lobby.
  • Each patient is allowed a maximum of two visitors at a time.
  • Each patient is assigned a unique four-digit code. Visitors must be able to provide this code in order to visit.
  • Visitors should be prepared to show photo identification at check-in.
  • Visitation for a patient may be subject to clinical discretion based on the patient's current condition.
