Meet the ER team at Aliante: Abigail R.

There are are many different types of positions in an emergency room, from nurses and physicians, to lab and radiology. An equally important role is our environmental services team (EVS). These men and women keep our ERs and hospital clean, from surgery suites to patient rooms and everything in between.

Today we meet Abigail R., who is an EVS attendant at our freestanding emergency room, ER at Aliante and ER at Skye Canyon.

Q: What do you want people to know about getting care at one of our ERs?

A: I can always see the seriousness and speed with which each patient who arrives to receive care at our ER is taken. Our team of doctors and nurses do not leave the patient until they are out of their crisis and are out of danger. That gives a lot of confidence and security to their relatives and their families. I like knowing how my work contributes to the great miracles that take place in our ERs every day. 

Q: Is there a moment in your career that stays with you that you can share? 

A: Every day I’m reminded of why I do what I do, we are here for our patients.
