Meet the ER team: Chryshanda M.

One of the first people you will encounter at our freestanding ERs, ER at Aliante, ER at Skye Canyon and the soon-to-open ER at Skye Hills, is our security team. They will help you check in and get you to our clinical staff right away.

Today we meeting Chryshanda M., one of our security guards who is stationed at ER at Aliante.

Q: Why did you pursue a career in security? 

A; I love to help people and want to ensure everyone feels safe in their surroundings.

Q: What do you want people to know about getting care at one of our ERs?

A: That they are going to be taking care of and looked after. If they have questions they would be answered. We will make them to feel as if they were at home surrounded by loved ones who care.  

Q: Is there a moment in your career that stays with you that you can share?

A: There was an older couple came in, and the wife was scared and panicking. I spoke with the couple to calmed them down. I let them let them express their fears and concerns. I took them straight to the back and got them the assistance they needed. Once they were discharged, the couple thanked me and told me that they didn't know what they would have done without me. It was a special moment I cherish. 

Q: When you are not at work, what do you do?

A: I like to spend time with my children and cherish new moments with them. I just had my first baby boy who is going on 5 months. 

Q: Anything else you’d like to share? 

A: I am very heartwarming person. I'm big on communications and will always lending an ear when someone is in need. I'm very dedicated to what I do.
