What do you do for our TCT clinic?

I am one of three apheresis nurses. 

Why did you pursue a career in oncology, and specifically BMT care?

I have been an oncology nurse for 3+ years now. I fell in love with the population of people we serve. My old hospital did not perform transplants, so I thought this would be a great way to learn more about a different area of oncology. I was also excited to be a part of a growing program.

What would you want people to know about getting their care at MVH? 

Staff, here at MVH, care about their patients. It is the first hospital I have worked at here in Las Vegas, and I am glad to be a part of a great community.

When you aren’t caring for patients, what do you like to do?

Spending time with my fiancé, friends, and family, trying new restaurants, cooking, and going to the gym. 

Anything else you’d like to share?

I am proud to be a part of a program that gives patients a service they need and deserve.
